Gordon Brings a Broad Base of Business Litigation Experience To Firm's 180-Lawyer New York Office

NEW YORK, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- King & Spalding LLP, a leading international law firm, announced today that Michael M. Gordon, a business litigator with extensive experience in a broad range of litigation matters, has joined the firm as partner. Gordon brings an extensive background handling financial, toxic tort, products liability, employment and contract dispute
matters to the firm's 180-lawyer New York office.

Gordon joins King & Spalding from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he was a partner in the litigation group. Two of the most high-profile lawsuits he has handled include the "Agent Orange" product liability litigation and the New York City Landfills Superfund case. He earned a B.A. with honors from Vassar College and a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and Articles Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law.

King & Spalding's litigators handle critical battles for a variety of Fortune 500 clients.
